Summary\nC5T is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with hands-on Agile or SAFe experience to serve as the focal point for capturing, analyzing, and managing requirements and user stories for the JTMS program.\nThe successful candidate will decompose features into stories, define acceptance criteria, partner with Product Owners and the ScrumMaster to shape and prioritize the backlog, and lead demonstrations of completed work to stakeholders.\nThis is a remote position; the candidate must live within driving distance of Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.\nKey Responsibilities\nApply an understanding of real-world mission and business objectives together with a working grasp of software development practices and technologies.\nServe as the focal point for the capture, analysis, and management of functional and non-functional system requirements and user stories.\nDecompose Features into stories within a product backlog that can be implemented in short, iterative development cycles.\nWork closely with the ScrumMaster to establish Sprint backlogs, resolve impediments, and provide direction on the scope of work.\nLead and facilitate backlog refinement, ensuring work items are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for implementation.\nCollaborate with Product Owners to prioritize the backlog and align requirements with business objectives and roadmap goals.\nDefine and maintain team and iteration backlog content, including stories and acceptance criteria, dependencies, and traceability.\nWork with Product Owners and functional SMEs to confirm understanding of requirements, scope, and expected outcomes, and communicate those needs to the development team through user stories and acceptance criteria.\nDefine and validate testable acceptance criteria that enable Test Driven Development and support acceptance of completed work.\nElaborate upcoming work items to ensure readiness for future iterations.\nLead demonstrations to stakeholders and report on the results of each software iteration.\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.\nAbility to pass a background investigation, including a three-year check for felony convictions, a one-year check for illegal drug use, and a one-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud.\nBachelor of Science in computer science, engineering, information management systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\nMinimum five years of experience as a business analyst on iterative software development projects.\nExperience with SAFe or Agile methodologies.\nStrong skills with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePoint.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDesired Qualifications\nCertified SAFe Product Owner.\nCertified SAFe Practitioner.\nSAP or software development background.\nCertified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).\nAgile or Scrum Master certification.\nKnowledge of the
