This is a design-focused role for someone who enjoys solving visual and usability challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating websites that are both aesthetically compelling and conversion-focused.\nThe ideal candidate has a strong portfolio of modern website designs, understands user experience best practices, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced remote environment.\nPlease note: This is a design-only position and does not involve front-end or back-end web development.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign visually compelling, user-friendly websites for a variety of industries and business sizes.\nCreate wireframes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity designs from concept through final approval.\nDesign responsive experiences that perform seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.\nCollaborate closely with developers to ensure design intent is accurately translated into the final website.\nWork within project requirements, timelines, and established brand guidelines.\nApply UX and conversion optimization principles to improve usability and user engagement.\nOrganize and maintain clean, scalable design systems and project files.\nIncorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining design quality and consistency.\nManage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.\nQualifications\n3 to 4 years of professional experience in web design.\nStrong portfolio demonstrating modern, responsive websites that have been launched successfully.\nAdvanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, and design systems.\nStrong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first design principles.\nSolid knowledge of user experience (UX), user interface (UI), and conversion-focused design.\nExperience designing websites for Shopify and WordPress platforms.\nFamiliarity with website structure, layouts, and theme customization from a designer’s perspective.\nUnderstanding of accessibility best practices, including color contrast, typography, navigation, and inclusive design.\nExcellent visual design skills, including typography, spacing, composition, color theory, and hierarchy.\nStrong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.\nAbility to work independently while contributing effectively to a remote team.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience creating design systems and reusable UI component libraries.\nFamiliarity with website analytics or conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.\nBasic understanding of HTML and CSS to facilitate collaboration with developers.\nExperience working in a digital agency or managing multiple client brands simultaneously.\nKnowledge of current web design trends, interaction patterns, and emerging UX best practices.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe’re seeking a designer who combines creativity with strategic thinking.
