SUMMARY: Printer Technician POSITION INFO: About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Printer & Copier Technician to join a leading South African technology partner. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality on-site hardware and software support, conducting routine preventative maintenance, and managing installations across a diverse client base. As a key representative of the technical operations team, you will ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime while consistently meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Key Responsibilities Perform root-cause troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of office automation devices, including multifunction copiers, printers, and print servers. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to extend hardware lifecycles and minimize device failures. Execute mechanical and electrical repairs, including the replacement of fusers, rollers, image units, and transfer belts. Manage the delivery, assembly, and configuration of new hardware at client premises. Integrate devices into client local area networks (LANs) via static IP assignments, print server configurations, and workstation driver setup
