Follows work instructions (WI) and Product Quality Control Plans (PQCP). In addition, mayoperate control room equipment and processes.\nAdjusts controls to regulate variables for production units and/or energy station, if appropriate.Performs set up procedures to prepare systems for operation.\nMonitors and troubleshoots the process to maintain required operating conditions. Conducts inprocess Quality Control testing.\nPerforms minor maintenance on process.\nDepending on organization and location, may use business management system to enter work ordersand requisitions.\nDepending on location, may transfer and move materials into heavy containers. Assists in packagingproduct for shipment and in loading/unloading product or raw materials.\nParticipates in scheduled safety meetings and completes safety training requirements.\nMay provide training and guidance to operators in training.\nPerforms other duties as assigned. Keeps work area safe and clean.\nCompetencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors)\nManual dexterity, accuracy and attention to details. General mechanical aptitude.\nAble to read and interpret complex operating instructions. Basic knowledge of shop mathematics toread blueprints.\nHigh level of safety awareness and attention to details.\nWritten, verbal communication and active listening skills. Capacity to cross-train with otheroperating units. Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team-based environment.\nOrganizational and record keeping skills. Familiarity with computers as a user.\nFlexibility in performing changing assignments and work schedules.
