Our commitment to innovation is driven by a passion to advance our customers' businesses through our deep understanding of their applications and the global trends that impact their operations.\nIf you do not meet every requirement, or your experience is slightly different that what we have listed, we still encourage you to apply!\nJob Requirements (Principal Responsibilities)\nProvides technical support to customers through understanding of existing products.\nDevises strategies and leads the internal preparation for customer engagement to address customer technical problems incorporating and using Cabot inkjet dispersion products.\nMay visit key customers normally within Asia to provide information on use of Cabot products and to solve customer applications issues.\n Acts as technical resource to the Cabot Sales organization and provides training to Sales and customers on the use of Cabot products.\nWorks with Sales organization gathering detailed requirements information for new products.\nEnsures the identification and proper translation of customer product and functionality needs.\nEnsures proper collection and validation of application performance data.\nEnsures proper identification and resolution of product problems. This involves investigation of quality complaints and collaboration with Quality, Manufacturing, R&D and Sales to provide solutions.\nEscalates major problems to the business for management input and assistance with resolution.\nEngages customers to seek new ways to provide technical value to customers beyond solving day-to-day technical problems.\nQueries customers with pilot or hypothetical new product ideas to help drive future innovation.\nCompetencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors)\nLeadership and management skills.\nAbility to influence and motivate others, including current and prospective customers.\nConsulting skills.\nDisplays a proactive and collaborative attitude and promotes teamwork.\nSelf-motivated to overcome barriers, manage cross-functional conflicts, provide coaching and training to others.\nAbility and willingness to proactively plan and organize the work of others.\nAbility to manage a technical service ticket system involving cross-functional tasks.\nAbility to lead internal planning and preparation meetings for complex customer technical engagements.\n Strong customer orientation and presence.\nCommunication and consulting skills.\nAbility to speak convincingly, make formal presentations, lead meetings and facilitate discussions.\nExperience working with customers on delicate technical topics that involve commercial considerations.\nEducation/Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science or Engineering.\n8+ years related experience, including prior project or program management experience.\nChemical industry experience preferred, ideally in the inkjet industry involving inkjet inks and/or dispersions, or inkjet system application engineering involving ink and its affect on inkjet print system performance\nExcellent English communication skills.\nAt Cabot, we bring the power of innovative chemistry and a spirit of partnership with our customers to advance solutions that will enable a sustainable future.
