Promote a cooperative attitude with subordinates. Effectively practice Performance Based Management by coaching and developing employees.\nTrain and supervise the team members to comply with the SOP and technical installation or repair requirement of all applicable equipment.\nParticipate in the execution of maintenance and capital projects such as shutdowns, plant modifications, etc. Work as project mechanical resource, lead or assist and advise in the installation of new equipment to obtain the required reliability to operate mechanical equipment based on requirement. Assure that preventative maintenance, spare parts inventory is planned and carried out for new equipment.\nSupervise suppliers’/contractors’ day to day activities and periodically participate in vendor assessment. Ensure that contractors comply with Cabot safety and all other site procedures.\nBe capable of making accurate judgement in mechanical equipment running status and follow up suggestion.\nEnsure maximum plant availability by establishing reliability principles. Lead and conduct TPM related work\nOther works assigned by management\nCompetencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors)\nKnowledge and ability ofMB/compounds (or Plastic related industry) relatedmechanical maintenance crafts\nKnowledge and ability of Reliability centered maintenance process, including but not limited to PM, PDM, daily inspection, turnaround etc. Knowledge of TPM is a plus.\nBasic knowledge of building structure, utilities and facilities.\nKnowledge of maintenance budget development and cost estimation\nTeam leadership capability, passion for winning attitude and strong ownership, fast learner.\nProject execution related knowledge.\nKnowledge in areas such as confined space entry, lockout / tag out, hot work permitting, etc.\nReading and interpreting Blueprint and technical drawings\nAbility of root-cause analysis, gather, analyze and draw well-reasoned conclusions\nUnderstanding of General Manufacturing Process\nKnowledge and ability in Accident / Near Miss Investigation / Reporting procedures\nKnowledge of Environmental Awareness\nGood English communication skill at reading and writing.\nEducation/Experience\nMechanical bachelor diploma or above degree was needed .Plus additional specialized training (University / Technical degree preferred).\nMinimum four years maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing-related production plant, plus three years supervisory experience.\nAt Cabot, we bring the power of innovative chemistry and a spirit of partnership with our customers to advance solutions that will enable a sustainable future.
