The Operations Manager position supports purchasing and sales in the following areas: organizing stock in a way that maximizes space and picking orders in an accurate & timely manner.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nSupervise a crew of 6-10 warehouse employees\nSelects, develops and motivates assigned warehouse personnel\nMotivate and encourage teamwork to ensure set productivity targets are met\nConduct a daily safety walk-through to ensure that the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe at all times\nResponsible for enforcing company policies of conduct and safety, and initiates disciplinary action as needed\nConduct monthly safety meetings and quarterly driver safety meetings\nResponsible for inventory accuracy. Conduct daily cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory counts and percentages\nIdentifies the causes of product losses and takes corrective action\nImplement and maintain bin location system to aid in storage and picking of goods\nAssist warehouse employees in loading and unloading trucks.
