The Audit Analyst plays a critical role in supporting SOC-1 audit readiness and sustainment activities, integrating service organization control processes, strengthening internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), managing agile system implementation and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and other applicable federal standards. The Senior Audit Analyst has a strong understanding of ERP systems, financial system traceability, and data integrity controls. This position provides best audit practice advice and feedback to government stakeholders, external auditors, functional leads, and system owners to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement of audit posture.\nExperience typically includes, but may not be limited to, one or more of the following areas: audits (financial, performance, recovery, transportation, and contract audits); standards (Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and non-GAGAS); compliance assessments (financial statements, financial information, and internal controls); organizational performance improvement (accounting system design and accounting advisory services). At least one of the following is preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA); Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM); Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.\nResponsibilities:\nDoD Audit & Compliance Leadership:\nAdvise audit and compliance engagements supporting DoD financial systems, including JTMS and related ERP or logistics platforms\nEstablish and enforce audit work standards consistent with GAGAS and federal audit requirements\nSupport Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) objectives and DoD auditability goals\nManage internal controls testing, documentation, remediation tracking, and risk assessments SOC-1 Audit Support\nManage SOC-1 Type I and Type II audit support activities for service organization environments\nCoordinate walkthroughs, control testing, and auditor inquiries\nValidate control design and operating effectiveness\nEnsure remediation plans are implemented and documented appropriately Strategic & Methodology Development\nIdentify recurring audit themes and systemic control issues\nRecommend enhancements to financial system controls, reporting processes, and governance structures\nStrengthen analytical frameworks supporting transportation financial accountability and system traceability\nSupport development of innovative service offerings aligned with DoD digital modernization initiatives\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study\nActive Secret Clearance\n5+ years of experience supporting DoD or federal financial audit engagements\nDemonstrated knowledge of: - DoD financial management environments - Internal Controls - SOC-1 audit requirements - GAGAS standards - Federal financial compliance frameworks\nDesired:\nSAP ERP Experience\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
