In this role, you will design, implement, and manage robust cloud solutions that drive our business forward. You’ll be instrumental in leveraging AWS and EKS to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud environments. Your expertise will ensure that our cloud infrastructure aligns with our strategic goals and industry best practices in a complex and classified environment.\nResponsibilities:\nCloud Strategy Development: Develop and maintain the cloud strategy in alignment with business objectives. Evaluate and recommend cloud services, platforms, and technologies, with a focus on AWS and EKS.\n\nArchitecture Design: Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures leveraging AWS and EKS. Create detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and deployment guides.\n\nImplementation and Migration: Lead the implementation of cloud solutions using AWS and EKS. Plan and execute migration of applications and data to the cloud, ensuring seamless integration with EKS container platforms. Ensure minimal disruption during migration processes.\n\nSecurity and Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations within AWS and EKS environments. Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments.\n\nPerformance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and performance across AWS and EKS. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.\n\nCollaboration and Mentorship: Work closely with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance on AWS and EKS. Mentor and support team members in adopting cloud best practices.\n\nCost Management: Develop and manage cloud budgeting and cost optimization strategies for AWS and EKS. Monitor cloud spending and implement cost-saving measures.\n\nStay Current: Keep up to date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, particularly related to AWS and EKS. Participate in industry events, conferences, and training programs.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.\n\nActive DOD Top Secret/SCI with CI Ploy security clearance\n\nMinimum of 5-7 years of experience in cloud architecture or a related role.\n\nStrong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS\n\nExtensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)\n\nSignificant EKS or other Kubernetes experience\n\nExperience with containerization technologies\n\nKnowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Terraform).\n\nActive CompTIA security+ certificate\n\nAdditional AWS certificate\n\nDesired:\nExperience with hybrid cloud architectures.\n\nKnowledge of microservices architecture.\n\nFamiliarity with serverless computing.\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.\n\nOpenShift certification\n\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
