If you enjoy solving complex problems, designing scalable cloud solutions, and working collaboratively in a SAFe environment, this is the place for you.\nRemote but required to travel to Scott Airforce base on a quarterly basis!\nResponsibilities:\nBuild and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account, multi-environment landing zones, including systems management and solution design.\nInstall, configure, deploy, and maintain servers, software, and supporting platforms.\nMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable day-to-day operations.\nStrengthen infrastructure security by managing access controls, backups, firewalls, and compliance tasks.\nCollaborate within a SAFe Agile delivery model alongside application, data, and security teams.\nSupport IaaS, IaC, networks, and firewalls to maintain secure and scalable environments.\nPerform upgrades, IAVA patching, and ensure STIG compliance.\nMaintain systems per contract requirements, performing proactive performance and availability monitoring.\nInvestigate and resolve system outages and technical issues.\nManage cloud resources in AWS to support program needs and evolving mission requirements.\nDevelop and maintain internal technical documentation, system manuals, and IT policies.\nContribute to multi-region disaster recovery planning, backup automation, failover design, and resilience engineering.\nQualifications:\nRequired: \nAn active DoD Secret clearance.\n5 years of related technical experience.\nBachelor’s degree.\nSecurity+, AWS, or similar IT certification.\nProven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar technical role.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and leadership levels.\nHands-on experience with servers, networks (LAN/WAN), cloud environments, and patch management.\nAbility to understand, document, and distill technical solution requirements.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nExpertise with Windows and Linux operating systems.\nProduction Kubernetes/EKS experience, including Docker/containerized workloads and image building.\nActive Directory and identity federation integration experience.\nDesired:\nFamiliarity with Git, Jenkins CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, and automation pipelines.\nExperience with STIG compliance and security patching.\nWorking knowledge of AWS-hosted environments and cloud-native services.\nScripting experience (Shell, Perl, PowerShell) and comfort with automation tooling.\nStrong Terraform experience (modules, state management, reusable IaC) and Ansible knowledge.\nExposure to observability/logging platforms such as Splunk or CloudWatch.\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
