This role involves independently executing moderately complex cloud deployments, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting platform operations with a strong focus on AKS, PaaS services, and Infrastructure-as-Code patterns. The specialist will research solutions, resolve cross-team technical blockers, and contribute to the reliability and scalability of cloud platforms. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, advancing cloud capabilities, and sharing knowledge to strengthen team performance.\nResponsibilities:\nDeploy, configure, and troubleshoot Azure resources including VMs, storage, networking components, and PaaS services.\nSupport and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and assist with container workload troubleshooting.\nImplement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code templates such as ARM or Bicep.\nConfigure Private Endpoints, encryption options, and diagnostic settings for cloud resources.\nInvestigate issues related to certificates, DNS, networking dependencies, and service connectivity.\nAnalyze logs, performance metrics, and telemetry to identify and resolve service issues.\nAssist with deployment pipeline troubleshooting and contribute to improving automation processes.\nPerform technical research to evaluate solution options and support new cloud capabilities.\nDocument processes, troubleshooting procedures, and platform configurations.\nProvide guidance to less-experienced engineers through informal mentoring and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Required:\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.\n2-4 years of experience in cloud operations, engineering, or technical support.\nExperience with Azure core services, PaaS offerings, and AKS fundamentals.\nFamiliarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as ARM or Bicep.\nAbility to troubleshoot cloud networking, certificates, DNS, and connectivity issues.\nStrong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently.\nEffective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
