You will coordinate CM of software applications with the product offerings developed by the Hardware Design and Manufacturing Operational Group (OG) to support those applications. You will work with engineers, manufacturing technicians, procurement and logistics specialists, and program managers to enforce and refine configuration control processes and procedures for hardware and software.\nResponsibilities:\nAs a motivated CM professional, you will be responsible for Configuration Management (CM), change control, configuration identification, status accounting, and configuration audits of developmental and operational systems. You will create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.), as well as execute and maintain program configuration and management plans. This position will assume a collaborative role in analyzing, negotiating, and implementing contract and CM policy, standards, and requirements on all contract and delivery orders.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nEnforce and maintain a Configuration Management Strategy which includes processes that support rapid development and production of software source code and electronic hardware\n\nEnforce and maintain configuration and data management documentation, such as CM plans, policies, and procedures, based on program requirements and/or tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system to ensure that all projects maintain the integrity of complex software, hardware and documentation throughout the project life-cycle from initial requirements/capabilitiesbaselines to system end-of-life.\n\nEnsure version/change management and control processes, policies and procedures are strictly enforced throughout the development life-cycle on hardware and embedded software across Engineering and Production.\n\nRegulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes to the baselines are incorporated into our products after going through appropriate change boards. Participate in all Change Management activities and / or Change Control Boards (CCB) to proactively address CM-related issues and concerns. Review all software and hardware change requests submitted for approval to ensure completeness and compliance to company specific guidelines and industry best practices.\n\nSupport and maintain a CM environment for hardware and embedded software product builds, staging, testing and integration using version control concepts and tools, including Confluence/JIRA, GitHub, Foreman, and Infor, as well as automated CM tools to maximize efficiencies.\n\nParticipate on cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Bill-of Materials (BOMs) and work with the teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of drawings, schematics, and documentation for the entire hardware product line.\n\nSupport the management all production baseline product data, react to periodic audits on data accuracy and conformance to CM practices for all configuration items, document findings, and develop and deploy necessary correction actions.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nUS Citizenship is required\n\nAble to obtain TS/SCI security clearance\n\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3+ years of directly related experience\n\nWorking knowledge of configuration management and data management principles\n\nProficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams\n\nAbility to grasp technical concepts\n\nExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a desire to improve processes/procedures and overall production quality and efficiencies to enhance critical national security missions.\n\nComfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and working under pressure for quick-reaction projects\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting\n\nMust demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally with all levels of staff and outside personnel\n\nDesired:\n5+ years of experience in Configuration Management\n\nExperience with configuration management of software source code and resulting artifacts within a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment\n\nExperience with configuration management of hardware design, mechanical design, and production hardware\n\nFamiliarity with complex electronic systems, preferably electronic warfare (EW) systems and/or software-defined radios and associated subsystems\n\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
