The Opportunity:
Cyber Security Team, you will work to create and maintain a DFARS compliant operating environment for CACI’s users by protecting network boundaries, designing and supporting hardened computer, network devices, cloud services, and provide security services to protect highly sensitive data for our endpoints, servers, and OT/IoT.
The candidate will work directly with our cybersecurity team to support all major networking activities and evaluate software and SaaS services with a Cyber Security focus. Additional responsibilities include technical risk assessment, testing and validation of remediation for vulnerabilities, and compliance guidance for our networking environments. Candidate will support governance of appropriate policy and compliance technology to meet or exceed applicable government and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide robust cybersecurity guidance for supported CACI networks and infrastructure.
- Partner with networking engineers to evaluate security risks and ensure systems meet compliance requirements.
- Research emerging cybersecurity threats and NIST 800 standards to strengthen system security.
- Monitor enterprise systems as part of ongoing vulnerability management activities.
- Develop mitigation strategies, document risk levels, and follow up with stakeholders; prepare reports as needed.
- Maintain and reinforce a Zero-Trust environment using strong networking and security knowledge.
- Use data aggregation and analysis tools to provide insights into the organization’s security posture.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure all networking technologies are securely engineered, deployed, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Work effectively in a team-centric environment and engage with stakeholders at all business levels.
- Draft technical requirements, procedural documentation, and network diagrams to enhance overall system security documentation.
- Analyze security reports, test results, and remediation plans to ensure thorough and compliant security processes.
- Demonstrate strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 7+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Engineering
- Strong cybersecurity background
- Significant networking expertise
- Ability to work effectively in a team-centric environment
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all business levels
- Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience drafting technical requirements, procedure outlines, and network diagrams
- Experience analyzing security reports, reviewing process documentation, and assessing test results and remediation plans
Desired:
- Professional certifications such as CySA+, CISSP, CEH, Security+, or other network-based certifications
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
- Prior experience designing or implementing cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance activities
- Experience with risk management frameworks (DFARS 800-171, CMMC, ISO, NIST)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated individual contributor productivity in technical roles
- Intermediate-level knowledge in three or more of the following:
- SDN concepts
- NIST 800 series
- Risk management and mitigation strategies
- Implementation of security tools, automation, or frameworks
- Cloud architecture familiarity, including SaaS implementations

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
