This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and development of our Elasticsearch cluster, ensuring the health, status, and security monitoring of our systems. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about cybersecurity, we invite you to apply.\nResponsibilities:\nInstall, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats components.\nMonitor and troubleshoot Elasticsearch cluster health and performance issues.\nProvide technical support to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the AF DCGS.\nCreate custom Kibana dashboards and visualizations to provide insights into data trends.\nUtilize extensive understanding of Linux command line administration.\nConfigure syslog, audit.d, and Windows audit policies.\nPerform server rebuilds, deployments, and parser customization.\nApply knowledge of common enterprise security devices and tools.\nUtilize scripting languages and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).\nManage tasks using a ticketing system.\nWork with Microsoft and Linux operating systems.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nTop Secret/SCI clearance\nBachelor’s degree in IS Technology, Computer Science, or related field (negotiable with equivalent experience)\nMinimum 5 years of related experience\nDOD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II (Security+ or equivalent)\nDesired:\nAF DCGS experience\nFour to seven years of Linux systems administration experience\nKnowledge of security best practices and standards, including NIST, ISO, and SOC operations\nProficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems and network protocols\nExperience with SIEM and Log management\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
