As one of our Electrical Engineers on the team you will be responsible for engaging in design, development, integration, sustainment, & testing of components on our diverse product line. This position will be involved in all phases of product development including design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and firmware development. Successful Electrical Engineers are self-motivated and work effectively in team or individual situations. They have excellent communication skills and can handle multiple projects and activities simultaneously. U.S. Citizenship required. Successful candidates must be willing and able to obtain a security clearance.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze, design, develop, and maintain products; assist in commercialization\nUnderstand current product portfolio to enhance product line and generate creativity in potential new products that service our industry \nBuild prototypes, products, and systems for testing; set up and run laboratory simulations \nDesign the interfaces that interface our products \nTroubleshoot electrical issues to help support production areas \nConduct and/or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, codes, and other tasks involved in product development \nSupport engineering design reviews with other engineers, Design Reviews (PDR/CDR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) \nAuthor interface control documents for systems and subsystems \nCreate schematics and BOMs for products \nAnalyze data to improve current systems and products \nBe part of a team to establish system architecture \nLead technical execution of electrical engineering principles \nAssist in generation of technical content of white paper for proposal development as required \n Qualifications Required:\nBachelors (BS) in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relative electrical engineering design work\nExposure to standard Engineering Process and terms such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs), System Requirements Documents (SRD), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Customer Acceptance, Product Life Management Review (PLM) \nDirect experience in circuit board design, fabrication, and assembly \nIn depth knowledge of high-speed digital circuits, layouts, and interfaces \nExperience with schematic capture and PCB layout \nBroad knowledge of digital communication signals \nOperating experience utilizing lab equipment including: Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and custom test equipment \nExcellent organization, communication and writing skills, and the ability to express yourself in technical discussion via strategy, implementation and system & subsystem design \nDesired Qualifications:\nDeveloping test summaries to include results, conclusions, and recommendations\nExperience with electronic exploitation \nFamiliarity with Siemens PADS software for PCB layout design \nExperience with Hardware Description Languages (HDLs) such as VHDL or Verilog\n-\nWhat You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
