Must have experience installing, repairing, troubleshooting electronic systems, as well as instructor experience to provide instruction to military hosts on an as needed basis.\nResponsibilities:\nAs a Field Service Representative (FSR) you will be the\nprimary frontline responsible technical support for our deployed ecosystem of USSF SATCOM systems. You will support tasks at various OCONUS locations. This role requires the ability to “fly” on short notice to assist with maintaining multiple deployed systems globally. \nTasks include regularly scheduled maintenance activities, hands-on troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing hardware replacements and installations, as well as aiding with next generation hardware deployments. Additional duties include administratively tracking FSR-related tasks in our ticketing system for proper documentation. \nMust be willing to turn wrenches and haul equipment in foreign countries\nBuild and configure satellites, equipment, racks\nExpertise in understanding SATCOM\nPointing Antennas, establishing remote connections\nWork with 12' tall antennas and rack in extreme environments\nWill consider SATCOM professionals and heavy network professionals who want to transition to SATCOM\nApproximately, 50% of time will be OCONUS:\nWork with military clients to fully understand their operational needs and issues.\nEffectively manage time to respond to service calls in a timely fashion.\nComplete site surveys, system installations, troubleshooting procedures, and perform system operational checks.\nPerforms small scale (move, adds, or changes of client's) equipment as needed.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they occur.\nProvide basic system administration training to technical users.\nRemotely monitor health and status of deployed systems\nSupport logistics operations and aide with asset management responsibilities\nAssist with management of spare pools to ensure availability and accountability\nManage and control forward deployed system spares inventory\nEscalate any hardware issues or system outages to leadership immediately\nAssist with ticket management, and track all known hardware issues within Jira ticketing system\nPerform preventative maintenance checks and services (PMCS)\nConduct hardware replacements and/or upgrades\nMonitor and maintain system hardware and software\nTroubleshoot any technical problems or issues to determine possible solutions\nConduct and/or assist local unit with site surveys (for future system installation)\nConduct refresher training for operators, when necessary\nSupport customer operations and system administrator personnel\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nCompTIA Security+ certification\nActive Secret clearance\nAbility to troubleshoot complex hardware and network issues\nExperience maintaining hardware systems, SATCOM terminal, including cable repair\nWindows OS and Linux System Administration expertise\nPhysically able to travel OCONUS, travel and conduct the physical actions necessary to include lifting, racking and stacking equipment\nMust have U.S. Passport with at least one year until expiration\nMust work well within a team environment, have good interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with customers and OEM vendors (for example: vendors for sensor systems and vehicle platforms)\nDesired:\nWorking in foreign locations, either on-economy or military base housing\nPrior Military or DoD experience\nPrevious experience as a Field Support Representative\nExperience maintaining servers, network and/or communication, SATCOM terminal equipment\nSIGINT background\nCollege Degree or applicable technical certifications\nProgram Mission focused approach to representing the USSF Program\nTravel: Overseas required: 50-75% \nActive TS/SCI \n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
