You will provide engineering expertise across a varied set of hardware, software and expeditionary equipment. Communicate highly technical information to all levels of the USSF CFC command teams and subordinate units. You will have the opportunity to work with both co-located and remote engineering teams across the globe, along with providing on-site support to exercise events throughout the year.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide Operations and Maintenance support for multiple scientific, engineering, and technical systems to include large antenna systems, portable antenna systems, and applicable test equipment\nAssist a team of engineers to perform system installations at geographically diverse locations \nPerform system configuration to tailor to customers’ needs\nInvestigate and perform performance tuning, resource optimization, and system upgrades\nMaintain and contribute documentation in the Configuration Management Knowledge Base\nWrite limited technical documents, briefings, and drawings for new deliveries\nResponsibilities occasionally require working evenings/weekends and on-call as needed \nQualifications:\nRequired:\nA current TS/SCI clearance is required. CI Polygraph may be required for Special Access Programs (SAP). \nBachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited University & a minimum 2 years of professional experience. (6+ years of relevant professional experience without a degree.)\nA willingness to learn, teach and share information in a co-located and remote team environment\nExperience with antenna system installation, testing and optimization\nA subset of the below:\nUnderstanding of Radio Frequency (RF) systems, design, propagation, and receiver performance\nUnderstanding of antenna theory\nExperience operating or maintaining Intrusion Detection and Access Control security systems\nExperience with CAD software (Solidworks, Fusion 360) and associated equipment\nExperience with Coaxial Cable and Fiber Optics including termination, splicing, and testing \nUser level understanding of Linux operating systems\nStrong active-listening skills and attention to detail\nMust be self-motivated with good interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills\nExperience in producing technical volumes, white papers, version description documents\nAbility to lift 50+ lbs to aid in the installation, testing & pack out of systems\nAbility to work aloft on antenna systems at heights of up to 50 feet. \nDesired:\nExperience of subsystem integration into a large system (aircraft, ground vehicle, ship, etc.)\nExperience with antenna system, sub-system and depot level maintenance and repair\nExperience tuning and optimizing microwave systems\nExperience with Radio Frequency measurement\nExposure to SIGINT Production Systems\nUnderstanding of the OSI model and networking principles\nUnderstanding of signal analysis\nDOD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (SEC+ or eqv.)\n-\nWhat You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
