In this role, you'll design cutting-edge system architectures for new and existing computer systems, coordinating all aspects of development including design, modeling, security, integration, and testing. Join us at CACI and be part of a team that's pushing the boundaries of technology in support of our nation's intelligence capabilities. \nResponsibilities:\nSupport the design, security and maintenance across the cloud and hybrid/cloud computing environments that power our software development lifecycle. \nAct as a critical bridge between system operations and development teams, managing a robust infrastructure that spans AWS cloud services and on-premises data centers. \nManage a highly available, scalable, and automated environments, ensuring developers have the secure access, CI/CD tools, and computing resources they need to build, test, and deploy code efficiently. \nPerform systems design, development, and integration throughout the entire system life cycle. \nImplement moderately complex infrastructure, including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools. \nConduct systems modeling, simulation, and analysis to optimize performance and efficiency. \nMaintain robust security measures, including backup and redundancy strategies. \nPrepare and comprehensive documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects. \n Qualifications:\nRequired:\nActive TS/SCI security clearance (Willing and able to obtain a polygraph)\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, a relevant field or equivalent experience\nMinimum of 7 years' experience as an IT system administrator, or related experience.\nTechnical understanding of: Cloud Infrastructure: Deep expertise in AWS core services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and Systems Manager (SSM). Hybrid Networking: Proven experience configuring AWS Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPNs, and hybrid DNS architectures. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on proficiency with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to provision multi-environment stacks. CI/CD Platform Support: Experience maintaining and scaling the infrastructure for GitLab CI or GitHub Actions. Operating Systems & Scripting: Advanced administration of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments, utilizing Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation. \nDemonstrated proficiency as a Linux system administrator. \nStrong scripting and coding skills, particularly in Python, or similar languages. \nDesired:\nExpertise in operational support and system maintenance. \nFamiliarity with Containerization & Orchestration, managing native Kubernetes clusters and AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) or native Kubernetes clusters with Ansible automation.\nCertifications (Preferred): AWS Certified SysOps Administrator\nExperience with automation and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, virtual networking) \n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
