10%Type of Travel: Local* * *The Opportunity:\nCACI is seeking an Infrastructure/Systems Administrator to support a zero-trust research and development IT environment.\nThe role supports a secure, compliant infrastructure integrating on-premises and cloud-based technologies across CACI programs.\nProvides hands-on administration and technical support across Linux, Windows, and macOS servers and workstations.\nWorks collaboratively with Systems Administrators, engineers, and corporate IT teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and deliver reliable technical solutions.\nContributes to continuous improvement, security hardening, compliance, documentation, and operational excellence.\nResponsibilities:\nAdminister multi-OS environments including Red Hat, Ubuntu, Windows, and macOS across servers and workstations.\n\nTroubleshoot infrastructure issues involving servers, storage, networking, and security in remote and on-site environments.\n\nPerform patching, package management, and compliance activities using tools such as Red Hat Satellite, Landscape, Foreman, MECM, or similar technologies.\n\nManage identity and access services, including authentication and privileged access management using Centrify or comparable PAM solutions.\n\nSupport AWS, Azure, VMware, Nutanix, or similar cloud and virtualization platforms.\n\nCollaborate with engineering, security, and support teams to resolve complex cross-platform infrastructure issues.\n\nSupport a zero-trust security posture through system hardening, encryption, device controls, and security best practices.\n\nSupport NIST compliance and security requirements within the IT environment.\n\nUtilize Splunk and related monitoring/logging technologies for system visibility, troubleshooting, and operational support.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and improve technical documentation, procedures, and operational standards.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve infrastructure processes, tooling, automation, and service delivery.\n\nEvaluate IT requirements for internal, remote, and external customers and develop effective technical solutions.\n\nIndependently manage assigned services and technologies while maintaining accountability for operational performance.\n\nPropose new ideas, challenge existing processes when appropriate, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\n5-7 years of hands-on Systems Administration experience supporting Linux and Windows environments.\n\nWorking knowledge of at least 3-4 of the following areas:\nPatch/package management using Satellite, Landscape, MECM, Tanium, or similar tools.\n\nIdentity and privileged access management using Centrify or similar PAM technologies.\n\nScripting and automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.\n\nCloud platforms including AWS or Azure, or virtualization technologies such as VMware or Nutanix.\n\nSecurity hardening, encryption, endpoint security, or device-control technologies.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned technologies and services.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, engineering, and support teams.\n\nAbility to create and maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.\n\nDemonstrated ability to evaluate customer IT requirements and develop effective infrastructure solutions.\n\nDesired:\nExperience supporting a zero-trust architecture or security environment.\n\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies, including Docker or Podman.\n\nEnterprise-level macOS administration experience.\n\nFamiliarity with WinMagic SecureDoc or comparable
