This role requires a deep understanding of systems engineering principles, technical expertise, and strong analytical skills to ensure the successful integration of the payload.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSystems Engineering:\nDevelop and maintain system architecture and requirements for the mMRV payload integration.\nEnsure that all system requirements are clearly defined, documented, and communicated to the integration team.\nConduct systems engineering trade-off analyses to support decision-making.\nIntegration Planning and Execution:\nLead the development of integration plans, schedules, and milestones.\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the payload onto the USV.\nMonitor integration activities and adjust plans as necessary to meet project goals.\nTechnical Leadership:\nProvide technical guidance and support to the integration team.\nEnsure that all integration activities adhere to technical specifications and standards.\nCollaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and issues.\nAnalysis and Testing:\nConduct analysis to assess the performance and functionality of the integrated system.\nDevelop and execute test plans to verify that the payload meets all requirements.\nAnalyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements.\nDocumentation:\nPrepare and maintain systems engineering documentation, including requirements, architecture, and test plans.\nEnsure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the team.\nStakeholder Management:\nCommunicate integration status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.\nFacilitate meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed.\nManage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction throughout the integration process.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 15 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on payload integration or similar technical projects.\nStrong understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProven ability to lead technical teams and deliver results on time and within budget.\nCertification in systems engineering (INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional) is a plus.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience with mMRV systems and unmanned vehicle technologies.\nFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to USV payload integration.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work in an office environment with occasional travel to project sites.\nMay require standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.\nWorking Conditions:\nTypical office environment with potential exposure to outdoor conditions during site visits.\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\n[Company Name] is an equal opportunity employer.
