In this role, you will lead rapid-response, short-fuse engineering and IT infrastructure initiatives-ranging from hardware and software installations to enterprise tool upgrades across 24/7/365 production environments.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, familiarity with the Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) framework, and hands-on experience guiding matrixed teams through project initiation, requirements gathering, deployment, and transition to Operations and Maintenance (O&M).\nResponsibilities:\nAs an IT Project Manager, you will hold end-to-end accountability for project success, driving timelines, budget scope, stakeholder engagement, and technical quality. Responsibilities include:\nAll areas of Project Management from initiation through closeout, ensuring the successful execution of the project in support of government customer’s mission, goals and objectives.\nResponsible for the management, scheduling, and coordination of projects activities, and staff assignments.\nProvides leadership to a cross-functional team, managing team resource assignments, projected task completion dates, prioritizing activities based on customer requirements and SLAs.\nDocument and track the project lifecycle in ServiceNow PPM.\nProduce and provide rough orders of magnitude and estimates for projects requiring surge resources.\nOversee individual IT projects from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end-user testing, deployment, and production support.\nDocument and manage all issues and risks, developing and maintaining a risk register and mitigation plan.\nFacilitate all necessary project meetings, to include requirements gathering, project kick-off, technical exchange meetings, design review, project status meeting, project closeout meetings and all ad-hoc and post-mortem meetings necessary.\nWork across the program to manage the transition of projects from engineering to O&M.\nProvide appropriate reporting and drive towards on time delivery by working directly with stakeholders.\nProvide recommendations for process development and improvement.\nContribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\n\n Ability to obtain TS/SCI DoD Security Clearance (active TS preferred)\nAbility to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred\nB.A./B.S. or equivalent + 8 years of relevant experience\nStrong communication skills (verbal and written)\nAdvanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (predominantly Excel, PowerPoint and Visio).\nExperience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence\nDesired:\n\n Previous DHS or DoD experience\nRelevant IT, Service Management, and Project Management certifications are highly desired:\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification\nCertified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile certifications (PMI-ACP)\nCOMPTIA A+, or Network+, or Security+\nITIL Foundation (v3 or v4)\nOther IT technical certifications\nServiceNow Project Portfolio Management\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
