The selected candidate will work closely with senior engineers, product owners, and data platform specialists to develop, test, and maintain capabilities supporting the Agency Data Catalog and Open Innovation Products. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is passionate about modern software engineering, cloud technologies, and continuous learning.\nResponsibilities\nContribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of modern software solutions using established software engineering practices, including version control, code reviews, documentation, and automated testing.\nImplement features and enhancements for the Agency Data Catalog and Open Innovation Products under the guidance of senior team members.\nDevelop and maintain integrations between enterprise systems through APIs, data ingestion pipelines, and database connections.\nSupport cloud-based development, deployment, and operational activities within secure environments.\nCollaborate with software engineers, data engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and product stakeholders to deliver user-focused capabilities.\nTroubleshoot application issues, investigate defects, and participate in root cause analysis and resolution efforts.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including user stories, implementation notes, and configuration documentation.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.\nLearn and apply engineering best practices related to CI/CD, infrastructure automation, code quality, and secure software development.\nContribute effectively within a fully remote team by communicating proactively, managing workload independently, and delivering on commitments with minimal day-to-day supervision.\nMaintain a professional home-office environment with reliable internet connectivity and the ability to participate fully in virtual collaboration, meetings, and development activities.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
