The Logistician is responsible for site supply chain operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, records compliance, contractor emergency action plan (EAP), and emergency destruction plan (EDP).\nResponsibilities:\nSupports inventory control process to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred. \nTracks and analyzes logistics data to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and reducing inventory related costs. \nMonitors shipping equipment and manages maintenance requirements\nEnsures accurate tracking, storage, and management of all site inventory items.\nManages audits and inspections.\nMonitors physical stock for replenishment requirements and avoids shortages and excess.\nMaintains comprehensive and compliant records for all logistics/inventory areas.\nMaintain documentation of the contractor Emergency Action Plan (EAP) based on current requirements and coordinates training for destruction procedures.\nEnsure all documentation is provided in proper format to respective USG entities.\nOversee the shipping/courier activities. Coordinate with the proper entities and ensure schedule of shipments are followed.\nCoordinate escort personnel\nCommunicate effectively with USG on all inventory/shipping/courier tasks as required.\nQualifications:\nFour (4) years of experience working as Logistician.\nExperience shall include: property accounting processes to include the associated forms. \nShall possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems. Professional experience shall include ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property. \nProficient in MS Excel for Logistics Inventory Tracking \nShall have practical experience with processing paperwork related to Government Bill of Lading.\nActive forklift certification or able to obtain.\nTS/SCI with Polygraph\nThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available.
