Responsible for managing projects being executed by CACI and any sub-vendors to ensure ability to effectively manage cost, schedule, and performance.\nResponsibilities:\nAs a Logistics Lead, you will be responsible for the overall management of specific projects and procurements and leading a team of procurement professionals. Your role will ensure that technical and financial solutions, along with project schedules, are implemented in a timely manner.\nYou will oversee the organization, direction, and coordination of all activities associated with assigned procurement projects. This includes managing delivery orders on IAC MAC Task Orders.\nYou will demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skills and ensure that quality products and services are delivered to the customer.\nCACI seeks talented Logistics Lead to join our Mission Support and Engineering Services group.\nLeading and managing a team of procurement professionals.\nOverseeing project management, execution, and reporting to the Program Manager.\nBeing a self-starter, capable of working with minimal oversight, and possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nGathering and distributing information to subcontractors and service providers, including initiating, preparing, reviewing, and tracking RFIs, and managing the status of submittals.\nAssist in preparation of monthly owner project status reports, as required.\nAttend project meetings as assigned.\nProject coordination and Document Control.\nAssist in project close out.\nServe as the primary liaison between CACI and the DoD customer for assigned project(s), providing project and technical guidance, managing technical staff and provide financial management for assigned project(s).\nResponsible for the acquisition of services, materials and supplies for assigned projects.\nWorking with the program manager, and financial and procurement team, perform market research analysis of materials and resources, develop and revise rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimates, and provide current and historical data for the acquisition of goods and services.\nSupporting the program manager, identify project requirements including justification write-ups, sole-source recommendations and technical evaluations, and maintain records of purchased materials and services by tracking purchase date, lead time and cost, and providing monthly reports to the customer.\nClosely monitor project team, performance, to include vendors, to ensure that materials and parts will be delivered on time and that the end product will meet customer needs.\nCollaborate with program manager to achieve socioeconomic goals by contracting small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned companies and disadvantaged business firms where practical.\nResponsible for the technical performance of assigned project(s) while assuring product delivery to the customer in accordance with budget and schedule requirements.\nConduct in-depth research and technical reviews on topics relating to management of government furnished property and contractor acquired property.\nEnsure assets/material is available in accordance with program requirements.
