This position is part of our Optical and Photonics Systems Division. We specialize in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex, state-of-the-art communications systems for military, space, and commercial applications.\nResponsibilities:\nLead fabrication process development, documentation, ECOs, process training and responsibility to maintain production yield, quality and cleanliness\nInterfacing with design engineers to ensure hardware producibility and develop build strategies\nDrive cost reduction and commit the best process control to make top quality products for customers\nDirecting support personnel in the day-to-day execution of the manufacturing tasks\nProposing or translating new ideas and concepts into tangible results of processes\nPlan and support the build and modification of electronics systems including procurement support, assembly method/work instructions generation, tooling design support, material/process development, facilities/equipment planning, and resolution of manufacturing, quality and reliability issues\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s Degree in ME, EE or OE, or an Associate’s Degree and equivalent combination of education and experience working in Optics Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar industrial field\nKnowledge of process control, cleanroom operation protocol, and process control for complex opto-mechanical and electro-optical assembly\nProven technical acumen in the manufacture, test and integration of complex product technologies and systems, DoD or Space\nExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies\nExcellent communication and ability to work well in team environment with people at all levels\nMust be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a clearance\nDesired:\nKnowledge of MIL/IPC workmanship and performance standards related to electronic assemblies IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-883, NASA Spec.\nManufacturing Execution System experience\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
