The ideal candidate will leverage the Mendix low-code platform to design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications that support transportation and logistics operations. This position offers an opportunity to work on mission-critical defense applications while utilizing cutting-edge low-code development technologies.\nThe JTMS Mendix Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining applications using the Mendix low-code platform to support transportation management and logistics workflows. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, system architects, and other developers to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications that meet operational requirements and enhance mission effectiveness.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy applications using the Mendix low-code platform \nCreate and maintain domain models, microflows, nanoflows, and page layouts in Mendix Studio Pro \nDevelop RESTful and SOAP web services for system integration \nBuild responsive user interfaces that meet accessibility and usability standards \nIntegrate Mendix applications with external systems, databases, and APIs \nImplement custom widgets and modules using JavaScript, Java, or React when needed \nPerform code reviews and ensure adherence to Mendix best practices and coding standards \nCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements \nCreate and maintain technical documentation for applications and integrations \nTroubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues \nParticipating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives \nOptimize application performance and ensure scalability \nImplement security best practices and ensure compliance with government standards \nSupport application deployments across development, test, and production environments \nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members \nStay current with Mendix platform updates and new features\nQualifications:\nTechnical Skills:\nMendix Studio Pro \nDomain Modeling \nMicroflows and Nanoflows \nREST/SOAP APIs \nSQL and Database Management \nJavaScript/Java (for custom development) \nVersion Control (Git/SVN) \nAgile SAFe Methodologies\nRequired: \nActive Secret Clearance\nMust be a US Citizen\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field \n3+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years of Mendix development \nStrong proficiency with Mendix Studio Pro and Mendix platform architecture \nExperience with domain modeling, microflows, and page design in Mendix \nKnowledge of REST and SOAP web services integration \nUnderstanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts \nProficiency in SQL for data queries and manipulation \nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies \nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills \nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities \nExperience with version control systems (SVN, Git) \nTeam player skills to collaborate with other teams \nBuild out wireframes from requirements\nDesired:\nMendix Rapid Developer or Advanced Developer certification \nExperience with JavaScript, Java, HTML5, CSS3, and React \nKnowledge of Mendix mobile app development \nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices \nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Mendix Cloud) \nUnderstanding of microservices architecture \nExperience with transportation or logistics systems \nKnowledge of DoD security requirements and compliance standards \nExperience integrating with government systems and databases \nBackground in enterprise application development \nFamiliarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools \nExperience with SAP S/4 HANA\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
