You will have the opportunity to learn about and support a CACI program with the Department of War enterprise network modernization.\nThis position will require you to work 100% in office at our High Point, NC location during the entirety of the internship.\nResponsibilities:\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nAssisting an engineering team with designing and supporting network\nmodernization solutions across the project life cycle. \nCompleting a network engineering intern group project simulating\ncustomer network environments \nOverseeing the completion of tasks under the direction of a senior Engineer.\nConducting research and gathering data to support project decision-making. \nIdentifying risks, roadblocks, and opportunities for process improvements. \nProviding general support to engineering team as required. All interns will be\nexpected to conduct a final summary presentation on your projects and experience to the Division. \nSelect interns may be chosen to present to leaders in our headquarters office as well.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nYou must minimally be a graduating High School Senior with demonstrated academic achievement and technical aptitude. \nMust currently be enrolled in full-time Undergraduate or Graduate student in a relevant field of study \nMust be able to obtain and maintain security clearance (if applicable to position) \nGood interpersonal and presentation skills \nGood oral and written communications skills \nTechnical experience or knowledge of basic data network communications and computer operations. \nCoursework providing background in data network communications\nProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) software applications \nAbility to collaborate with project\nmanagers, engineers, and technicians. \nAbility to work in a team environment. \nMust be able to travel to other CACI\nLocations or Customer Sites as necessary \nWork may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials,\nboxes, or equipment. \nTechnical experience or knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Aruba is preferred. \nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.\nCompTIA Security+ certification required.
