Our focus includes the design, transition, operations, and continual service improvement to include tech modernization, tech refresh, activities associated with customer local area networks (LANs) and unified communication (UC) services.\nOur mission on this program will be the design, transition, operations, and continual service improvement to include tech modernization, tech refresh, or Capital Equipment Replacement Program (CERP) activities associated with the clients’ LANs, CAN and Unified Communication services. Become a part of our great team and make a difference.\nResponsibilities:\nAs aTier 3NetworkEngineer, you'll be challenged with hardcomplex support problems where you will coordinate with other NOC and Operational staff and be asked to lead and preformplatform upgrades. You are expected as one of the leaders on theNetworkteam members to coordinate ticket acceptance and resolutions. You will development of technicalresolution reports for critical outages in the Network.\nWhat will you do:\nPerform System patchingand IAVA patches to network routers and switches.\n\nPerform IOS and Software upgrades\n\nCreate/review and publish in KM system Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for networkoperations.\n\nTroubleshoot systems failures and accessibility problemswithin the network to our services.\n\nMonitor networkperformance,track usageand develop capacity planning reports.\n\nDevelop and maintain IP Address allocationstables.\n\nMakes recommendations that enhance operational efficiencies for networkmonitoring, management, and overall operations.\n\nUses experience and knowledge articles to understand/implement potential workarounds.\n\nUpdates knowledge articles and handles \"how to\" questions.\n\nSupport KM management by entering solutions into the Solutions database.\n\nFacilitateengineering designsdata calls.\n\nLead new/enhanced networkimplementation, installation, and technical refresh projects within a site or locale.\n\nWorks independentlywhile providingleadership to the rest of the Network team.\n\nProblems faced are difficult, will require detailed information gathering, analysis, and investigation to understand problems. You will employ creativity and ingenuity for new technical solutions applicable across the enterprise, drawing heavily on prior experience.\n\nPreform Networkticket resolution.\n\nSupportNetworkticket closure acrossNetwork OPS staff to include:\n\nCompletes initial categorization of Service Requests (type, sub-type, location device, priority, etc.)\n\nUse administrative access to the network to provision new switches, router, VLANsand Crypto.\n\nUses administrative access to network components to research errors, incidents, problems and to perform incident analysis and identify potential problems.\n\nRouting Service Requests to the appropriate organization required for incident resolution.\n\nPerforms root cause analyses.\n\nCompletes problem resolutions associated with incident ticket(s)\n\nWillconfigure, deploy, manage, and maintain Networkmonitoring systems used by the technicians to ensure availability and overall performance of system and services.\n\n Qualifications:\nHigh School/GED + 14 Yrs, or Associates + 12 Yrs, or Bachelors + 10 Yrs, or Masters + 9 Yrs,\n\nCurrent IAT IIlevel certification\n\nMinimum TS/SCI (we can sponsor for polygraph- which you will need in order to begin work)\n\nThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
