You will analysis design, specifications, and related documents. You have experience implementing communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality for a software engineering environment. And you will analyze network characteristics (e.g. traffic connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes and throughput), trouble shoot problems and recommend procurement of and/or modifications to network components.\n\nThe position requires collaboration within a dynamic team operating on a 24/7 basis. The team assignment dictates their reporting schedule. Each team rotates through the following shifts in accordance with their team assignment.\nPanama Schedule:\nM = Mid shift 6PM - 6AM\nD = Day Shift 6AM - 6PM\nS = Straight Shift 8AM - 5PM\nB = Break (days off) \nResponsibilities:\nDesign solutions, integrate, configure, deploy, test and provide support for numerous types of network devices, interfaces and methodologies\nOptimize end-to-end system performance and dataflow management\nConfigure and optimize the network to connect various front-end and back-end components\nCoordinate with the system engineering and dataflow efforts to ensure proper mission operations with minimal down time\nFacilitate the implementation of high-speed, scalable, fault-tolerant network topologies as applicable to WAN and LAN design\nImplement specific network solutions to support server requirements to include load-balancing, VPN’s, firewall contexts, and network address translation (NAT) where appropriate\nMinimize network latency and maximize data through design analysis and network performance monitoring tools\nDeploy, install and implement hardware at Continental United Stats and Outside Continental United States\nLead large efforts of dynamic requirements and scale\nWork with System Engineers and cross organizational teams to define requirements\nResolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment and network stimulators Qualifications:\nCertification with IAT Level 3\nTwelve (12) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity\nBachelors degree in engineering from an accredited college or university\nFour (4) years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree\nFive (5) years experience with the following Network Tools: o Whats Up Gold o Netflow\nFive (5) years experience with the following SIGNIT Tools: o Common View/Max View o Triton o TUMMS\nTS/SCI Poly required\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
