You will procure and perform acceptance testing on equipment. Provide hardware maintenance support. Prepare site installation and testing reports. Ensure that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user’s requirements. Prepare reports and recommendations concerning existing and emerging hardware technology.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct site surveys; assess and document current site network configuration and site-unique requirements\n\nOrganize and direct hardware installations across multiple sites\n\nAnalyze and recommend hardware specifications for project-unique or modified commercial hardware\n\nAssist with building simulations of proposed systems and provide hardware throughput analyses to system engineers\n\nDesign and verify test harnesses/simulated interfaces for all test and integration phases\n\nPrepare Mean-Time-Between-Failure and Mean-Time-To-Repair analyses\n\nAnalyze operational data to identify choke points, failure modes, and other data for design or maintainability improvements\n\nReview proposed systems, and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems\n\nEvaluate current systems and annotate system vulnerabilities\n\nResearch and analyze data of various products to include COTS/GOTS components and GFE to determine feasibility of design or application\n\nProvide skilled technical assistance in network planning, engineering, and architecture\n\nAssist in the development of technical standards and interface applications, identify and evaluate new products, and provide resolution for network problems\n\nProvide evaluations of systems, networks and information systems to ensure designs meet applicable governmental security specifications\n\nAssist with the development of system security documentation on both new and fielded information systems\n\nDevelop, analyze, and provide feedback on wired and wireless network systems\n\nPlan large and small-scale system vendor comparison, cost studies, and security\n\nPlan and evaluate complex existing network systems and make recommendations for resources required to maintain and/or expand service levels\n\nIndependently develop technical standards and interface applications, identify and evaluate new products, and provide resolution for network problems\n\nIndependently develop system security documentation on both new and fielded information systems\n\nAnalyze, identify, describe, and brief system weaknesses and provide proposed system improvements.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nTen (10) years experience as a Network Security Engineer analyzing complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions\n\nBachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related disciple from an accredited college or university is required\n\nFive (5) years of additional Network Security engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree\n\nMeet DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification for IAT Level II and possess at least two (2) of the following vendor certifications:\n\nPalo Alto Network Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)\n\nSonicwall Network Security Administrator (SNSA)\n\nSonicwall Network Security Professional (SNSP)\n\nSymantec ProxySG 6.7 Technical Specialist or Cisco CCNA or higher\n\nTS/SCI Poly required\n\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
