Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products on time, while controlling costs and meeting program objectives. The Production Supervisor will spearhead our efforts to optimize and streamline the assembly build process and staff training.\nAs a member of our team, you will directly impact on our business performance by ensuring efficient, high-quality assembly operations while balancing multiple priorities, foster team collaboration, and continuously improve the assembly processes. Your expertise and decision-making will be instrumental in driving our company's success and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.\nResponsibilities:\nOptimize production manufacturing quality, timelines, and costs through data-driven management strategies.\nAssesses issues and develops mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, and delivery goals.\nDevelop and implement innovative approaches to consistently meet or exceed delivery commitments.\nLead and mentor a diverse team of salaried and hourly staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.\nOversee comprehensive workforce management, including manpower planning, training, strategic hiring, professional development programs and performance evaluations.\nAlign production efforts with broader program goals and company objectives.\nCorrective Action Planning.\nWilling to travel up to 10% of the time.\nMust be willing to work onsite.\nQualifications:\nRequired: \nBS in Engineering or related degree.\nMust be a US Citizen.\nMinimum 10 years of management experience in complex electro-optical DoD production\nExpert Knowledge of all aspects of high volume electro-optical manufacturing including assembly, test, manufacturing and test engineering, supply chain, material planning, MRP and IMS Scheduling.\nExpert knowledge and experience in Earned Value Management; have ability to set, monitor and adhere to budgets.\nExpert Knowledge in developing manufacturing labor and material proposals in compliance with DFAR regulations.\nExpert knowledge of Bills of Material and configuration management and change control processes.\nExperience leading a Multifunctional team.\nKnowledge of tracking budgets and providing cost estimates.\nPractical experience with Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and Manufacturing Experience in a DoD Aerospace Manufacturing environment\nKnowledgeable in AS9100. \nMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance.\nKnowledge of Microsoft tools Excel, Word, PowerPoint.\nDesired:\nMaster’s Degree\nPrior experience in photonics manufacturing of assemblies with optical fiber\nPrior experience with new product introduction to manufacturing.\nDemonstrated expertise in Infor enterprise software.\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
