You will be integrated at the cutting edge of applied RF research, experimental modeling, and empirical validation, directly developing solutions for critical national security challenges. Leverage industry-standard bench instrumentation-such as Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, and high-bandwidth Oscilloscopes-to evaluate RF front-ends, antennas, and mixed-signal architectures to troubleshoot complex hardware and analyze empirical test data to optimize wireless systems under real-world conditions. \nResponsibilities:\nDevelop high-fidelity RF characterization models, link budget analyses, and simulations to predict system performance prior to hardware builds\nCharacterize novel RF front ends, transceivers, and sub-assemblies across broad operational frequency ranges\nCorrelate empirical lab and field measurement data with predictive models to refine simulations and system architectures\nDesign, coordinate, and execute conduct RF experimentation in a RF benchtop lab, anechoic chamber and field environment\nConduct antenna pattern measurements to include far-field and near-field measurements, beam pattern verification, and antenna gain evaluations\nPerform outdoor range propagation experiments and operational stress assessments Qualifications: Required: \nTS/SCI clearance must be current\nBS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or related field \n7 years of previous work experience\nRF characterization engineering experience \nKnowledge and proficiency with antenna gain measurements and beam patterns \nExperience with use of an anechoic chamber\nStrong understanding of RF modulation types Desired:\nMATLAB Experience\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
