In performing network engineering activities for directed modification efforts, you will be supporting the continued delivery of telemetry, tracking and commanding (TT&C) capabilities to Satellite Control Network (SCN) users around the globe.\nResponsibilities:\nAble to install, configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related technologies \nThe successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly \nAble to work in dynamic, fast paced environments that require team interaction, collaboration, and coordination of efforts \nProvide level II support, both in an enterprise and in a lab environment \nSupport the design, implementation, and optimization of LAN, WAN, and software-defined networking solutions \nConfigure and maintain network routing, switching, VPN connectivity, network segmentation, QOS, and high-availability solutions \nDeploy, administer, and optimize enterprise firewall technologies, and network security protocols \nPerform network upgrades, technology refreshes, equipment installations, firmware updates, and lifecycle replacement activities \nThis position requires occasional local, regional, CONUS, and OCONUS travel \nQualifications:\nRequired: \nBachelor’s Degree in a related technical Field \nMinimum 3 years of experience working as a Network Engineer \nRelevant certifications to satisfy DoD 8140.01, such as Security+, Cisco CCNP, etc., etc. \nMust have, and maintain an active Secret DoD security clearance, or be able to qualify for one within six months \nAbility to plan, build, and install cable patch panels and cable infrastructure \nPerforms equipment and equipment rack installation at DoD, and NOAA sites around the world \nQOS configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting \nExperience with Policy maps, class maps, and Access list configurations \nPalo Alto firewall experience \nExperience working with, and supporting Cisco routers and switches in a complex enterprise environment \nStrong working knowledge of the various routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, 802.1x) \nWorking knowledge of Cisco ISE \nDesired:\nExperience using enterprise network monitoring and management platforms, such as SolarWinds \nExperience supporting Federal Government or Department of War enterprise IT environments \nMulticasting \nClass-1 IP encryptors \nDISA circuit familiarization \nSCN Experience\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
