As part of a high-priority defense program, you’ll operate a modern, fully integrated security stack-from Elastic Security and Palo Alto NGFWs to Zscaler cloud access technologies. You’ll play a hands-on role in threat monitoring, incident detection, and response while working within a structured, supportive team environment built for collaboration, clear escalation, and professional growth. This is your chance to elevate your expertise across endpoint, network, cloud, and access security monitoring while supporting defense operations that truly matter.\n Responsibilities:\nMonitor and analyze security events and alerts using Elastic Security SIEM\n\nConduct vulnerability scans with Tenable SC and assess cloud workloads via Tenable Cloud Security\n\nManage and enforce endpoint security policies using Trellix ePO or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)\n\nMonitor network security activity across Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls\n\nAnalyze secure access traffic through Zscaler Private Access and Internet Access\n\nDetect, document, and escalate security incidents following established response procedures\n\nDevelop continuous monitoring reports and contribute to security posture dashboards\n\nTrack and present security KPIs to program leadership\n\n Qualifications:\nRequired:\nActive Secret or Top Secret clearance\n\n3-5 years of experience in a security operations or SOC environment\n\nHands-on experience with a SIEM platform (Elastic Security strongly preferred)\n\nWorking knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (Tenable SC preferred)\n\nFamiliarity with network security monitoring and firewall technologies\n\nDoD 8140.03M DCWF Basic Tier Certification - one of: CC, GDSA, or GISF\n\nDoD 8140 Interim Education Options\nRequired to travel to Scott Airforce base on a quarterly basis\n\nDesired:\nElastic Certified Analyst or Elastic Certified Engineer\n\nExperience with Palo Alto NGFW or Zscaler platforms\n\nExposure to cloud workload security monitoring\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering\n\nDoD 8140.03M DCWF Intermediate Tier - one of: CEH(P), ECIH, GRID, RCCE Level 1, CBROPS, CCSP, CEH, Cloud+, FITSP-O, GCED, GCIH, GSEC, PenTest+, or Security+\n\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
