We provide the customer’s mission processing platform - from hardware to application. You will play a critical role in developing, integrating, and deploying that mission system. We are looking for an accomplished engineer with a breadth of knowledge across Linux system administration, Infrastructure-as-Code, containerization, and best practices. The ideal candidate is one who continues to learn while sharing lessons learned with junior engineers. The position is on-site in Sterling, VA, with up to 25% travel to customer/integration sites.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and deploy hardware platforms with both OpenShift clusters and single-application servers.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Puppet, Ansible)\nEnforce infrastructure security best practices.\nPrepare technical documentation and support program reviews.\nLead and support cross-functional team activities.\nMentor junior engineers \nQualifications:\nTop Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.\nAt least 10 years IT/engineering with 3+ years DevOps and/or Platform Engineering\nExpert level knowledge of Linux administration, specifically RedHat\nDeployment of OpenShift or other Kubernetes clusters to on-premise hardware\nProficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and scripting languages (Python, Bash).\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).\nStrong communication and project leadership skills.\nMeet and maintain DoD 8140 certification requirements (Security+ or better).\nBachelors degree in a STEM field or equivalent work experience\nDesired:\nImplemented DISA STIG requirements on Linux systems\nDeployed systems to air-gapped environments\nAuthored Puppet modules for configuration management\nKnowledge of GitOps best practices\nWorking knowledge of Cisco networking\nWorking knowledge of Storage Area Networks (NetApp, HPE Alletra, etc.)\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
