This senior role requires exceptional technical depth, methodical analysis skills, the ability to synthesize complex technical information into clear, comprehensive reports for our customers, and demonstrated capability to influence project outcomes across multiple departments.\nResponsibilities:\nResearch complex circuit components, create detailed schematics and perform sophisticated laboratory environment time and frequency domain tests to understand intricate circuit functions and device operational purpose\nWork with various digital communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, and more specialized interfaces to understand complex data flow within sophisticated devices\nMeasure and analyze challenging radio frequency (RF) signals from electronic devices to identify complex physical layer characteristics such as advanced modulation schemes, operating frequencies, occupied bandwidths, transmission power, etc.\nAnalyze and decode complex RF modulation types to extract data and understand intricate signal encoding mechanisms\nCreate detailed device characterization data and in-depth analysis summaries for coherent and comprehensive reports and briefings for customers\nStay current with cutting-edge electronic technologies and analytical techniques\nProvide technical guidance, oversee project execution, and foster a collaborative environment to achieve project goals\nDevelop innovative solutions to improve analysis processes, methodologies, and technical approaches that enhance program performance and departmental efficiency\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nActive Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI\nB.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of experience\nDeep expertise in electronic schematic design and interpretation of complex circuits\nAdvanced expertise in identifying electronic components and characterizing sophisticated circuits\nAdvanced proficiency with laboratory benchtop equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.)\nComprehensive understanding of RF communications principles and specialized RF measurements\nExcellent technical writing skills for complex technical reports\nAbility to mentor junior engineers\nDesired:\nABET MSE in Electrical Engineering\nAdvanced knowledge of IED and/or UXS techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP)\nProficiency developing C/C++ or equivalent code to interface with sophisticated hardware and associated interfaces (SPI, I2C, etc)\nExtensive experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) hardware/software integration\nAdvanced knowledge of communication security protocols\nExpert-level MATLAB/LabVIEW modeling and simulation skills\nSpecialized knowledge of RF principles and signal analysis\nDeep understanding of embedded software/hardware systems\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
