You will sit with the people doing work that’s critical to National Security, make the capability perform for them at the point of use, and return what you learn - how the mission actually uses the capability, where it falls short, and what it needs next - to the team that is continually enhancing the capability.\nThe role carries two functions: First, adoption and mission value: training, capability integration, workflow analysis, troubleshooting, and tradecraft support at the seat, so mission value is realized where the work happens. Second, forward sensing: structured, disciplined observation of use cases, friction, and unmet need, fed directly into the capability roadmap. This role is primarily defined by the second function.\nResponsibilities:\nWork with the on-site analysts to understand their mission and create innovative software solutions that streamline their workflows.\nDesign and develop software products that interface with the enterprise software tools already in use by the analysts to increase the intelligence value of the available data.\nCatalog all generated software in a manner that allows it to be tracked and incorporated into an enterprise software baseline if/when required.\nDevelop working proficiency in the supported organization’s analytic tradecraft, sufficient to translate operator problems into technical terms and technical constraints into operator terms.\nProvide on-site integration, configuration, workflow automation, and troubleshooting support for the fielded analytic capability directly to end users. Diagnose problems in place and commit to a resolution path within 48 hours.\nCapture and document observed use cases, capability gaps, workflow friction, and unmet mission need in a structured format, and report them on a defined cadence into the capability development roadmap.\nSupport connection of the enterprise analytic capability to adjacent mission systems and data sources at the site, within the fielded baseline and under the customer’s configuration control. Where a local workaround is warranted, it is coordinated with the core development team for incorporation into the enterprise baseline rather than maintained as standalone local software.\nDeliver hands-on training and best-practice support to users, sustain the customer’s trust in every interaction, and operate at all times within contract scope, site security requirements, and the organizational-conflict-of-interest framework.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nActive TS/SCI security clearance and a polygraph preferred\n10+ years of operational intelligence experience - military, Intelligence Community, or contractor - in an analytic, targeting, collection, watch-floor environment or direct software development support to any of these functions.\nDemonstrated technical fluency with analytic tools, data systems, and their integration: able to configure, troubleshoot, and adapt fielded capability with users in real time.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently at a customer site with limited direct supervision, exercising sound judgment in ambiguous conditions.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, structured observation reporting for a technical audience and communicate critical information to a geographically dispersed team across numerous time zones\nWillingness to relocate to, or work extended assignments at, the supported mission location, including OCONUS.\nQualifications:\nDesired:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical, intelligence, or related discipline, or equivalent operational experience.\nPrior assignment at a joint or combined operational headquarters, a national intelligence agency, or an equivalent operational intelligence organization.\nFamiliarity with geospatial, multi-source, or object-based analytic platforms and their data architectures.\nExperience in a forward-deployed engineer, embedded technical support, or field engineering role in a classified environment.\nWorking knowledge of scripting or data-transformation methods, applied to diagnosis and integration rather than standalone tool development.\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
