This role will be responsible for enabling a multidisciplinary engineering team to meet the requirements of a mission critical cloud-based force protection system with a Digital Twin environment. The chosen engineer will work closely with RF hardware engineers, system designers, and other stakeholders to deliver a high-performance, reliable RF system and Digital Twin. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated technical leader who thrives in agile environments and adapts quickly to emerging technologies and requirements. \nResponsibilities:\nDesign, implement, and support services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or similar technology.\nBuild, optimize, and maintain production-grade CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab or Jenkins).\nBuild and maintain automation using scripts and other tools. \nConfigure and tune groups , application gateways, and other protective cloud controls.\nManage compute, storage, networking, and database services across cloud environments while ensuring adherence to security and compliance frameworks.\nCollaborate closely with other engineers and subject matter experts to integrate testing into pipelines.\nEstablish and enforce security best practices for system implementations and data privacy.\nProvisioning Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes environments across multiple security domains in Cloud, data center, and edge environments.\nConduct trade studies to select appropriate open-source, commercial or existing government solutions/technologies to balance security, supportability, performance, cost, user experience, and time to operations. \nCollaborate with other teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them. \nWork with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.\nQualifications:\nRequired: \nU.S. Citizenship required \nMust have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligability\nBS/BA + 5 years or equivalency\n5+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering\nExtensive hands-on engineering experience in one or more of OpenShift, AWS, GCP or Rancher\nExpert Terraform skills or similar; proven experience managing infrastructure with infrastructure as code\nExperience operating production Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift/Rancher) supporting processing workloads\nExperience with containers (Docker, Podman) and CI/CD (Gitlab or Jenkins pipelines)\nScripting/programming abilities \nExperience with GitOps (ArgoCD)\nDesired:\nLinux/Red Hat knowledge \nExperience with Digital Twin systems \nElastic Stack (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana) or similar\nExperience with continuous monitoring and automated security tools\nStrong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership \n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
