In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and a variety of enterprise systems, with an initial focus on systems critical to our operational workflows. You will work closely with business stakeholders, ServiceNow developers, and other IT teams to ensure seamless data flow and process automation across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, integration methodologies, and web service technologies, and will be comfortable working with both established and emerging integration patterns\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and implement integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems, which may include government / DoD systems, vendor and licensing systems and other enterprise tools.\n\nUtilize ServiceNow integration technologies such as: - REST APIs - SOAP APIs - MID Servers - Integration Hub (Spokes, Flows) - JDBC/ODBC Connections - Email Integration\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.\n\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, data mappings, and test plans.\n\nPerform thorough testing of integrations to ensure data accuracy and functionality.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.\n\nMonitor integration performance and identify opportunities for optimization.\n\nStay up-to-date on the latest features of ServiceNow and integration of best practices.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards.\n\nWork closely with ServiceNow developers to implement custom solutions and enhancements.\n\nContribute to the overall architecture and design of the ServiceNow platform.\n\nAutomate manual processes using ServiceNow workflows and integrations.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.\n\n Qualifications:\nRequired:\nU.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance\n\n12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).\n\n3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and integration.\n\nStrong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and functionalities.\n\nExperience with REST and SOAP APIs.\n\nExperience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.\n\nExperience with data mapping and transformation.\n\nExperience with ServiceNow MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience with Integration Hub and ServiceNow Flow Designer.\n\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.\n\nExperience in integrating with tools and sources for hardware and / or software asset management.\n\nCandidate should have a CompTIA Security+ certification or be able to obtain it within 60 days of hire.\n\nDesired:\nActive Secret clearance.\n\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.\n\nServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in one or more modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CSM).\n\nExperience with Agile development methodologies.\n\nExperience with DevOps practices and tools\n\nExperience with cloud-based integration platforms\n\nExperience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.\n\nThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
