The successful candidate will design, build, and deploy highly scalable, resilient, performant cloud microservices, develop code using various programming and scripting languages, and adhere to approved design plans and coding standards, as well as identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options. The candidate will collaborate with the user interface designer(s) to ensure seamless integration and will focus on innovating new and better ways to create solutions that add value.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack software applications.\nDevelop backend services and APIs using Python and modern web frameworks.\nBuild and integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality and system interoperability.\nDesign, develop, and optimize solutions leveraging relational databases.\nDevelop and maintain responsive user interfaces using JavaScript and Angular.\nCollaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and implement solutions.\nTroubleshoot software defects, performance issues, and system integrations.\nParticipate in code reviews and promote software development best practices.\nContribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through deployment and sustainment.\nSupport Agile development activities including sprint planning, development, testing, and retrospectives.\nEnsure solutions meet security, performance, and maintainability requirements.\nRequired Qualifications\nACTIVE TS/SCI with Polygraph\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).\nExperience developing applications using Python.\nExperience with front-end development using JavaScript.\nExperience with Angular or modern front-end frameworks.\nExperience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.\nStrong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.\nExperience developing and maintaining software within Linux/Unix environments.\nUnderstanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews.\nExperience working in Agile development environments.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience developing APIs using FastAPI.\nExperience utilizing SQLAlchemy for database integration and ORM development.\nExperience developing cloud-based applications, preferably within AWS environments.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nExperience with containerization technologies and microservices architectures.\nExperience with Git, Jenkins, Terraform, or similar development tools.\nFamiliarity with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or other search technologies.\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
