In your role as Product Owner, you will lead the strategic execution of your team. You will serve as the primary authority on scope and \"Go/No-Go\" decisions, collaborating with engineering leadership to manage the release. \nResponsibilities:\nFeature Decomposition & Technical Mapping:Work directly with the Program Chief Engineer and Chief Architect to break down high-level mission capabilities into discrete technical features.\n\nEngineering Readiness & Context:Eliminate architectural ambiguity for the development teams. You must provide the \"technical tissue\" for every story, including defined API contracts and data flow diagrams, ensuring developers can start coding without stopping for clarification.\n\nBacklog Execution:Own and groom the backlog for your team. You are responsible for ensuring stories are granular, technically sound, and meet strict Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) standards before they hit a sprint.\n\nSprint Operations:Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. You are the first line of defense for the team; work closely with the Lead Engineer to aggressively clear technical blockers.\n\nRequirement Validation:Act as the final check on implemented features. Ensure that the delivered code actually meets the mission intent and matches the original feature decomposition before closing out stories.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nActive TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance\nB.S. degree or higher in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field and 7+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in STEM with 5+ years of experience\n3+ years as a Technical Product Owner or Team Lead in an Agile environment\nExcellent technical & nontechnical communication skills Writing, deriving, and communicating requirements to internal and external stakeholders\nAbility to brief technical and nontechnical audiences on development progress, risks & opportunities, proposals for new features, etc.\nAbility to communicate system design via SysML, UML/Entity Relationship Diagrams, or equivalent System Modelling tools\n\nTechnical Knowledge: Must have a working knowledge of modern software stacks.
