As a Software Test Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.\nYou will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality and data quality.\nYour expertise in database validation, source-to-target testing, and enterprise data flows will be essential to ensuring data is accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable. This is a ground-up opportunity to help architect and build comprehensive testing infrastructure and frameworks in a containerized environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in environments where they can shape and define testing standards and practices.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications\nExecute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality, performance, and security\nData Test Development: Design, build, and maintain data test cases, reconciliation checks, test data sets, and expected results for FADE data and software\nData Validation: Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, formats, transformations, and business-rule compliance across source and target systems\nDefect Management: Document data defects with queries, evidence, expected/actual results, and reproducible conditions; track issues through resolution and retest\nIdentity and assess new automation capabilities\nDeliver new automation development scenarios as needed\nContributes to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nCurrent and active TS/SCI clearance and a polygraph is preferred\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality test results\nBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent experience\nStrong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit)\nExperience with both manual and automated testing\nProficiency in scripting languages and environments (e.g., Python, Linux) for test automation with demonstrated ability to work effectively from the command-line and process/report on large data sets (logs, test artifacts, results)\nExperience with REST API testing, including validation of responses and negative/error-path testing\nExperience with GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD workflow processes\nDesired:\nExperience with the Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, ArgoCD\nLinux/Red Hat knowledge\nStrong debugging skills across services, logs, containers, and test reporting outputs\nExperience working with microservices architectures and verifying interactions through automated integration tests\nThe ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
