The role requires a combination of enterprise architecture, technical leadership, federal acquisition knowledge, solution development, technical writing, cost awareness, and customer mission understanding.\nResponsibilities:\nCapture & Solution Development: Lead or support technical solution development throughout the capture lifecycle. Analyze RFIs, draft RFPs, RFPs, PWS/SOW/SOO documents, evaluation criteria, incumbent environments, customer pain points, acquisition strategies, and competitive intelligence to identify solution requirements and discriminators. \nSolution Architecture: Develop end-to-end architectures integrating capabilities such as enterprise IT, cloud, network modernization, cybersecurity/Zero Trust, ITSM, DevSecOps, data/AI, automation, observability, infrastructure, applications, and end-user services as applicable to the opportunity.\nRequirements Decomposition: Translate Government requirements into solution components, capabilities, work packages, staffing requirements, technologies, processes, deliverables, dependencies, and measurable outcomes. Maintain traceability between requirements and the proposed solution. \nProposal Development: Develop and contribute to technical volumes, management approaches, solution descriptions, CONOPS, architecture diagrams, graphics, workflows, transition approaches, staffing concepts, technical assumptions, risks, and proposal responses. \nSolution Integration: Coordinate SMEs and functional leads to ensure individual solution components form a coherent enterprise solution rather than disconnected technical approaches.\nCompetitive Differentiation: Identify technical strengths, discriminators, innovations, proof points, and customer benefits that distinguish the solution while remaining compliant with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria.\nTechnology & Partner Evaluation: Assess COTS, GOTS, open-source, cloud, OEM, and partner technologies and determine their appropriate role within proposed solutions. Participate in technical discussions with subcontractors and technology partners. \nReviews & Presentations: Support solution reviews, Black Hat activities, solutioning sessions, Pink/Red/Gold Team reviews, technical interchange meetings, executive reviews, oral proposal preparation, and customer presentations.\nQualifications:\nRequired: \nActive Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly\n10+ years of solution development or related experience as a solution architect with a federal government contractor. \nBachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline\nMust have demonstrated experience developing and solutioning, and leading the development and solutioning of winning solutions for new and re-compete business pursuits, capture activities and proposal efforts starting at $100M TCV.\nMust have strong working knowledge and mastery of current technologies and capabilities employed in the Federal Government space, including and not limited to, Cloud, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, and various Software Development methodologies spanning Agile to Waterfall and hybrids thereof. \nMust have experience working front-end solutioning with clients to include assessing needs from requirements (SOW, SOO, PWS, other Draft material), good communication and relationship skills, determining pain points and key client needs, etc.\nMust have participated in, authored and preferably led as a Solution Architect, the development of the Technical and/or Management Volume of large high value proposals for the Federal Government.
