In this role you will use your experience with technologies such as Kubernetes and Helm to design a web-based, distributed, containerized, multi-tenant microservices architecture. You will use your strong communication skills to report progress to senior government leadership. You will hold a key position on a great team and find ways to make automation do the heavy lifting, enhance and maintain a Continuous Integration (CI) infrastructure, use automated deployment technologies, and design scalable maintenance practices. The position will require identifying and hiring additional technical talent to meet the customer's requirements. This work is located in Sarasota, FL and is full-time on-site.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and implement distributed, container-based, multi-tenant applications \nArchitect near-real-time (NRT) status and event-driven capabilities that stay scalable, resilient, and performant \nUse strong communication skills (verbal and written) to report status to senior government stakeholders \nWork with technologies such as Kubernetes and Helm to design, deploy, and operate containerized microservices \nImplement CI pipelines for projects and use DevOps principles and practices to get the most out of the tool chain \nAutomate environment deployments into varied and complex environments, using virtual machines and container technology \nCollaborate with team members across the development lifecycle, from development to operations to security. \nSolve technical challenges and give/receive guidance and mentorship.\nDesign a process to build, automatically test, integrate, and deploy software baselines using DevSecOps and CI/CD best practices. \nThis includes defining, selecting, and automating processes, metrics, and tools. \nResearch, design, and develop complex enterprise-level applications built on relational and unstructured databases \nDesign tenant isolation, security, and resource management strategies for multi-tenant platforms \nTransform complex requirements from multiple customers into working, maintainable solutions that can be leveraged for future work. \nUse open source software development kits and APIs to rapidly develop basic application solutions \nAdapt off-the-shelf solutions to meet government customer needs and requirements \nWork in a collaborative agile team environment Qualifications: Required: \nMinimum 10 years of software experience, with 5 years in an engineering lead role on IT or software application projects \nTypically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent \nU.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain a Polygraph \nExperience designing and building distributed, container-based systems on Kubernetes \nHands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices \nExperience designing multi-tenant architectures Experience building near-real-time (NRT) status, streaming, or event-driven systems \nExperience leading complex technical projects from design to production \nPaaS or container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry, etc.) \nDevSecOps experience with containerized applications \nKnowledge of version control systems \nCompiled languages (Java required; C# or C++ a plus) \nFamiliarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques \nAbility to prepare and present preliminary and critical designs to customers and stakeholders \nAbility to learn at a fast pace and rapidly learn and use third-party tools, SDKs, and APIs \nExcellent organization, communication, and writing skills, with the ability to express yourself in technical discussion on the strategy, implementation, and design of application environments \nExcellent teamwork and collaborative skills, with the ability to lead and manage the work of others when necessary \n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
