Join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the operational excellence of US Navy submarines.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, create and review Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions (TGIs) to ensure seamless submarine maintenance operations.\n\nAssist with Deficiency Form problems and prepare Sales Cost estimates to support efficient project budgeting and resource allocation.\n\nPerform mechanical, electrical and/or structural analysis to ensure system integrity.\n\nEvaluate components, materials, and systems to ensure system integration, compatibility, and stability.\n\nSome travel will be required.\n\nWork will be in support of US Navy Submarines, Submersibles, or Deep Submergence projects.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nElectrical / Mechanical / Systems / Ocean engineering degree from an ABET Accredited College/University (other degree disciplines may be considered).\n\nProfessional engineering experience performing complex engineering calculations such as heat transfer, fluid flow, piping stress, mechanical stress, etc.\n\nExperience with configuration management and document control.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage work in a time-sensitive operational environment.\n\nAbility to achieve excellence working individually or as part of a team.\n\nAttention to detail.\n\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance.\n\nDesired:\nPrior experience specifically with US Navy submarine systems.\n\nFamiliarity with SUBSAFE, Fly-by-Wire, and SOC.\n\nElectrical power background (NSTM 300).\n\nFamiliarity with Military Specifications, ANSI, and ASME standards.\n\nRelated submarine / submersible experience with design, maintenance, operations, repair, and/or testing.\n\nExperience with MS Office suite of products.\n\nThis position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available.
