This position provides systems engineering and integration support for complex operational environments, serving as a key technical interface between software development teams, government customers, SETA representatives, and 24×7 mission operations personnel.\nThe ideal candidate has experience supporting operational systems, coordinating software integration and deliveries, troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing system performance, and collaborating across multiple engineering and operational organizations.\nSuccess in this role requires strong technical problem-solving skills, an understanding of software development and integration processes, and the ability to independently coordinate engineering activities while minimizing impacts to ongoing mission operations.\nThis position supports mission-critical operations across geographically separated locations, delivering specialized communications capabilities to users worldwide.\n\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate software development, integration, testing, and deployment activities across multiple development teams and operational environments.\nServe as a primary technical interface between software developers, government customers, SETA representatives, Tier 1 operators, Tier 2 maintainers, and other mission stakeholders.\nReview, schedule, and deconflict software deliveries, system maintenance, and engineering activities to minimize operational impacts and maintain mission continuity.\nAssess system readiness for software deliveries, identify technical risks and dependencies, and brief customer leadership ahead of key integration and deployment milestones.\nInvestigate operational anomalies, assess system behavior, coordinate technical troubleshooting with developers and maintainers, and track issues through resolution.\nAnalyze system performance, operational metrics, incident trends, and recurring issues to identify risks and recommend improvements to system reliability and mission effectiveness.\nDevelop and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad hoc technical reports, including system performance analysis, engineering status, operational readiness, and risk assessments.\nReview technical documentation, software release notes, test results, and operational procedures to ensure technical accuracy and readiness for implementation.\nTrack, prioritize, and coordinate system discrepancies, enhancement requests, configuration changes, and technical issues across engineering and development organizations.\nDevelop and present monthly Program Management Review (PMR) content, highlighting accomplishments, technical progress, operational impacts, and risks.\nAuthor, review, and maintain operational and engineering guidance for internal teams and mission partners.\nSupport operational troubleshooting and anomaly resolution, including occasional after-hours coordination and escalation as mission needs require.\nCollaborate across geographically separated sites to improve engineering processes, system reliability, operational efficiency, and mission execution.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nActive TS/SCI clearance with a minimum of a CI polygraph.\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent applicable experience.\nDemonstrated experience in systems engineering, systems integration, software integration, or technical engineering support within a complex operational environment.\nExperience supporting software development, integration, testing, deployment, or sustainment activities.\nExperience coordinating technical activities across software development teams, engineering organizations, government customers, and operational stakeholders.\nAbility to investigate technical issues, assess operational impacts, coordinate troubleshooting activities, and communicate findings to technical and nontechnical audiences.\nWorking knowledge of IT infrastructure, including operating systems, networking, databases, virtualization, and software applications.\nExperience with configuration management, change management, issue tracking, and software release processes.\nStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple concurrent engineering activities and priorities.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing technical documentation, status reports, and briefings.\nAbility to work effectively in a mission-focused operational environment with evolving customer priorities and technical requirements.\nWillingness to support occasional after-hours operational anomalies and mission-critical activities as required.\n\nDesired:\nPrior experience supporting NRO, NGA, or other intelligence community mission systems.\nFamiliarity with NRO System Integration Standards (NSIS), including engineering milestones, integration activities, technical reviews, and associated documentation.\nExperience supporting 24×7 mission operations or other high-availability operational environments.\nExperience coordinating software releases, integration testing, operational acceptance, and system readiness assessments.\nExperience working directly with software developers to investigate defects, evaluate system behavior, and coordinate technical resolutions.\nExperience using SQL to query databases, analyze operational data, troubleshoot issues, or generate technical reports.\nExperience developing or modifying Python scripts for data analysis, automation, troubleshooting, or operational reporting.\nExperience with data analytics, trend analysis, performance metrics, and technical reporting.\nExperience developing or maintaining Excel VBA macros or other tools used to automate reporting and data processing.\nFamiliarity with Agile software development practices, Jira, Confluence, and other engineering collaboration tools.\nExperience with systems engineering processes, requirements management, interface analysis, verification and validation, and
