You’ll work closely with the engineering teams to ensure products are complete and accurate while using your skills to ensure those products are clear and meet established standards. Additionally, you will help the team establish an internal documentation repository and information management strategy. \nResponsibilities:\nPrepare, review, revise, and maintain technical and policy/ procedural documentation.\nApply concepts for technical writing based on engineering drawings, technical information from engineering documentation, consultations with engineers and subject matter experts, and other available sources.\nResponsible for writing/editing technical copy for various types of documents.\nMaintain a current internal documentation library with version control.\nUse multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, etc.\nPrepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences.\nCoordinate layout and design of documents and briefings.\nResearch highly technical subject matter, organize information from multiple sources, and express technical information in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers.\nInterpret engineering and maintenance drawings, operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of computer related information. Qualifications: Required: \nMust have an active Secret Clearance to start\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field with 5 years of experience\nStrong written communication skills that complement an ability to simplify complex topics\nAdvanced Microsoft Word skills (formatting, creating templates, cross referencing)\nAdvanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills (design, animations, data visualization)\nAttention to detail and proofreading\nExperience supporting systems engineering, system integration, or technical test activities for complex hardware/software systems\nFamiliarity with engineering concepts and current technology Desired:\nTS/SCI clearance\nBachelor’s degree with a technical writing concentration\nExperience supporting UAS/UXS, robotics, embedded systems, communications, sensor systems, or other integrated technical platforms\nFamiliarity with governmental practices, policies, and procedures\nFamiliarity with SharePoint, MS Teams, or other collaborative platforms\nKnowledge of graphic design concepts \nResearch and fact checking\nContent organization and document design\nCollaboration with technical and non technical stakeholders\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
