You will draft, incorporate, edit, review, and publish approved Satellite Control Network (SCN) Technical Order (TO) Changes to the baseline in support of the operations and maintenance personnel performing the SCN mission.\nResponsibilities:\nWorkin accordance withAir Force Technical Order requirements and DoD MIL-STD.\n\nSustain SCN Technical Order Baseline.\n\nCreate Technical Order redline packages.\n\nParticipate in Technical Order certification/verification activities.\n\nIncorporate approved technical order changes usingArbortext.\n\nReview Technical Order changes.\n\nCreate/edit engineering documentation.\n\nParticipate in project teams.\n\nCoordinate with engineers and project team members to review, create, and edit technical order, engineering documentation, and contract deliverables.\n\nSupport, coordinate, and schedule project and contract customer meetings.\n\nTrain and mentor other technical writers.\n\nQualifications:\nRequired\nBachelor’s Degree in Technical Writing, Communications,Englishor a related technical field.\n\nThree years of experience or seven years of relevant technical or procedural writing experience in lieu of degree.\n\nExperience with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.\n\nExperience with Air Force Technical Orders.\n\nAbility to communicate with project managers, government customers, engineering, andlogisticsstaff.\n\nExcellent verbal/written communication skills.\n\nAbility to consistently meet deadlines.\n\nAbility to obtaina SECRETclearance.\n\nWillingness to learn\n\nDesired\nExperience in the Satellite Control Network (SCN).\n\nFamiliarity with engineering drawings.\n\nWorking knowledge of TM-86-01 and TO-00-5-1.\n\nExperience with SGML language andArbortexteditor.\n\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
