You will be integrated at the cutting edge of RF research, experimental validation, and testing. Leverage your technical expertise, safety-critical judgement, and experience to help the Army develop, validate, and transition decisive RF solutions for critical national security challenges. Directs the creation, technical specifications, and formal execution of end-to-end test plans, instrumentation setups, and integrated schedules for complex systems. \nResponsibilities:\nDirects the creation, technical specifications, and formal execution of end-to-end test plans, instrumentation setups, and integrated schedules for complex systems. \nAssesses test requirement traceability for program completeness, executes technical analyses of complete systems, and compiles comprehensive evaluation reports and readiness reviews for stakeholders.\nEnsure as the technical authority for RF radiation hazard mitigation across all planned experiments, demonstrations, and system-level events\nLead and enforce safe operational execution regarding electromagnetic radiation to include personnel (HERP), ordinance (HERO), and fuel (HERF)\nEstablish, calculate and enforce Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) safety boundaries, controlled clearance perimeters, and RF containment procedures during emissions\nPlan for methods of data collection and analysis by analyzing modulation performance, RF propagation, receiver sensitivity, and system linearity\nConsolidate findings into formal system-level evaluation reports that directly inform program milestones and technical insertions Qualifications: Required: \nTS/SCI clearance must be current\nBS in RF Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. \n5 years of previous work experience\nExperience as a test engineer with Radiation Hazard (RADHAZ) testing\nUnderstanding of Hazards to Electromagnetic Radiation to Personnel, Ordnance and Fuel (HERP, HERO, and HERF)\nExperience planning and executing lab and field environment tests and demonstrations\nExperience planning for and managing experimental safety during experiments and test events\nUnderstanding of RF modulation types\nKnowledge and experience of applicable DoD and US Army regulations with regards to RF testing Desired:\nMATLAB experience\nAnechoic chamber experience\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
