This position will play a crucial role in ensuring system quality, stability, and compliance as enhancements, fixes, and releases are delivered across development, test, and production environments. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills and a desire to enhance those skills in a challenging, high visibility environment.\nResponsibilities:\nExecute manual test cases for Momentum Financials across multiple environments.\nAnalyze business requirements, user stories, and design documents to develop and maintain detailed test cases and test scripts.\nValidate end-to-end business processes, including core federal financial functions (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Budget Execution, Procure-to-Pay).\nPerform regression testing to ensure system stability after enhancements, defect fixes, and releases.\nIdentify, document, and track defects using approved tools; work closely with developers and functional teams to support defect resolution and retesting.\nCollaborate with functional leads, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.\nSupport the Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) team.\nParticipate in test planning and test readiness reviews.\nEnsure all testing activities comply with VA quality assurance standards and documentation requirements.\nMaintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.\nContribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, templates, and standards.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nMust be a U.S. citizen\n **Must have experience with Momentum Financials**\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n3 years of experience in a customer support role or testing role, with a focus on functional and regression testing.\nStrong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC), testing methodologies, and defect management processes.\nExperience developing and executing test cases based on business and functional requirements.\nFamiliarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).\nAbility to analyze complex business processes and validate system behavior against requirements.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies and system issues.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience documenting test results and defects.\nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.\nDesired:\nStrong knowledge of federal financial management processes (e.g., USSGL, Budget, AR, etc.).\nExperience supporting or interacting with IV&V teams.\nExposure to automated testing tools or frameworks.\nUnderstanding of Agile methodologies and participation in sprint ceremonies.\nKnowledge of configuration management and release processes.\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
